RYA Safety Boat Course - June

The RYA Safety Boat Course is the next qualification after completing your Powerboat Level 2. This course is designed for those with about a year of powerboating experience looking to enhance their knowledge. This practical course covers rescue techniques for a wide range of vessels and other sports such as winging and windsurfing. It also covers towing, how to recover people from the water and having strong situational awareness in various conditions, ensuring confidence in safely managing activities on the water. 

Who is this course for? - It is ideal for club safety teams or instructors! 

Prerequisites - You must be confident in your handling skill and be able to perform set manoeuvres. We recommend about a year of powerboating experience or get in touch to discuss this further.

Course Duration - 16 hours over 2 days
