What Equipment Will I Need?
We provide buoyancy aids, logbook and a beginners handbook, as well as all the help and encouragement you may require.
You will need plenty of warm clothing and waterproofs, some non-slip footwear which can get wet and sunscreen.
It is a club rule that all sailors must wear either a wetsuit/drysuit or clothing providing a similar level of protection between November 1st and April 30th. It is also recommended that appropriate clothing of a similar nature should be worn from May 1st to October 31st.
If you are unsure about the suitability of your sailing clothing, please check with the office when booking. Full details will be sent with your joining instructions.
