About this course -

The Youth Stage 1 course is designed for young sailors who are complete beginners in the sport of sailing. This fun and engaging course introduces the basics of sailing, boat handling, safety, and key terminology. Over the course of the program, young sailors will develop essential skills such as steering, rigging, and launching, while building confidence on the water. With a focus on safety and enjoyment, this course provides the perfect foundation for future sailing development in a supportive and friendly environment.

Who is this course for - This course is for anyone looking to start their journey in sailing or just try a new and exciting sport

Prerequisites - No experience is required for this course. We recommend ages 8-14 but this is not a rule. Get in touch to discuss further 

Course Duration - 16 hours over 2 days with regular short breaks
