About this course -

The RYA Youth Stage 3 course is for sailors who have completed Stage 2 and are ready to refine their skills. This course focuses on improving boat handling, sailing in different wind conditions, and understanding the fundamentals of racing. It builds confidence, independence in their own boat and starts preparing sailors for more advanced sailing challenges.

Who is this course for - This course is for those looking to take the next step after stage 2 and gain more knowledge and skills

Prerequisites - RYA Youth Stage 2 or similar sailing level. We recommend ages 8-14 but this is also not a strict rule, Please get in contact if you wish to discuss this further. 

Course Duration - 16 hours over 2 days with regular short breaks

Next Steps - RYA Stage 4, OnBoard Club and free sailing with junior membership
