This is a 2 day course 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Previous experience in powerboats is essential, a minimum of a RYA Powerboat level 2 is required.
This is an introduction to the techniques used by Powerboats escorting fleets of dinghies and windsurfers, providing safety cover for sailing boats and assisting in race management.
Candidates should be proficient and experienced drivers with skills for driving escort craft, safety boats, coach boats and racing boats plus training activities.
