Fun, Sun and Smiles

Carsington Sailability recently welcomed the Bakewell Rotary Club. The Bakewell Rotary Club is a long standing supporter of Carsington Sailability and arranged for a group of children to attend our club and try sailing. In total 9 children came along, with their families and carers. The light conditions meant that sailing was slow but it didn't stop us all having fun on the water with paddling and splashing around the order of the day. The occasional breath of wind encouraged partial sailing with our volunteers explaining how boats are sailed and maybe attracting future sailors. It was a memorable day, filled with fun, sun and smiles.
