Learn to Wingsurf
Learn to Wingsurf
This is the first course in the RYA Wing-Surfing Scheme, providing the basic introduction to Wingsurfing. It sets the foundations that enable students to take the next steps of achieving first foiling take-offs and glides.
There is no pre-requisite, but knowledge in wind-sports and/or foiling will help accelerate progression. By the end of this course the student will have a good understanding of the equipment used and recommended; how to launch and land safely as well as perform a self-rescue. They will learn how to fly and control the wing on land initially, progressing to a board without a hydrofoil.
